ライティングであるにも関わらず、読み聴きするベースの力がないと、回答できないタスクになっています。一方で、きちんと対策をすることで得点源にできるタスクですので一緒に押さえておきましょう！

Integrated ライティングの概要と対策
詳しい対策を紹介する前に、概要を確認しておきましょう。TOEFL Integratedライティングの設問は、以下の流れです。
- パッセージを読む (3分)
- レクチャーを聴く (約2分)
- ライティング (20分/200字以上)
パッセージを読み、それに関するレクチャーを聴いてまとめるというものです。高得点を取るためには、200文字以上書く必要があります。
設問は、疑問提示型と補足説明型の2つに分かれています。疑問提示型は、パッセージの内容に対してレクチャーが反対意見を述べるタイプです。おおかたの場合、こちらのタイプが出題されます。
補足説明型とは、パッセージの内容に関してレクチャーが賛成の立場をとり補足するタイプです。賛同して具体例を挙げるという点では疑問提示型よりも難易度は少し下がります。
20分という制限時間の中で、効率よく読み聴きした内容をまとめる対策が必要です！
対策1. 構成を覚えよう
対策の1は、ライティング全体の構成を覚えることです。Integratedライティングの基本的な構成は、以下になります。
- 導入
- ボディ1
- ボディ2
- ボディ3
- 結論
毎回、構成で上記の構成でライティングをすることができます。Integratedライティングは、パターン化されており、同じ流れで問題が出題されるためです。
具体的には、パッセージとレクチャーの双方で3つのポイントが挙げられます。それらのポイントを、各ボディ1-3に分けて展開して書いていくというものです。
対策2. メモのとり方を覚えよう
対策の2つ目は、メモのとり方を覚えます。パッセージ、レクチャーの双方から3つのメインポイントがあげられますので、それらをメモします。イメージで確認してみましょう：
リーディングの1つ目のポイントが、レクチャーの1つ目のポイントと呼応するようになっています。
メインポイントとなる単語は必ずメモをし、できれば詳細となる単語まで控えておけると、ライディングをする際に役立ちます。
レクチャーの冒頭では、話し手のポジションに関して述べられることが多いです。その上で、後続で列挙される3つの例をきちんと書き取れるかどうかが鍵になります。
レクチャー内では、パッセージに含まれない関係のない情報が出てきますので、ライティングに含めないように気をつけましょう！
対策3. テンプレートを覚えよう
対策の3つ目は、テンプレートを覚えることです。Integrated ライティングは毎回パターンが決まっていますので、テンプレートを活用することが可能です。以下がテンプレートになります。

- Moreover, it is stated in the article that __________.
- In contrast, the lecturer’s position is __________.

まずは、導入パラグラフでパッセージとレクチャーの趣旨と教授のポジション（主張）を明確にします。その上で、ボディパラグラフで3つのポイントをそれぞれ書く流れになってるのが確認できます。
Integratedライティングでは、結論パラグラフはありません。意見を展開するタスクではありませんので、結論は存在しないためです。

対策4. メモをテンプレに当てはめる
最後の対策は、メモをテンプレに当てはめるというものです。実際の練習問題で確認してみましょう。回答を見る前に、自分でトライしてみてください。

Through the reading and the lecture there are many negative consequences of social media presented. Both give many examples to help support the same idea.
First they mention that social media destroys relationships. In both the reading and the lecture they show that people have begun to put more value on computer based relationships rather than real life ones. Next, they both propose that another negative consequence of social media is cyber-bullying. This is when someone uses the internet to tease or harass someone, oftentimes anonymously. The lecture talks about how this is dangerous because people are willing to say things they wouldn’t say in public and they think that there are no consequences of doing so.
Finally, the reading and lecture take a look at productivity. They both use examples to show how social media is a huge distraction for people. Instead of doing work or homework, people use social media to distract them from their obligations. The lecture suggests that this has cost some businesses billions of dollars in lost revenue.
In conclusion, the reading and lecture use a wide variety of examples to support their thoughts that social media is a bad thing. The many negatives of social media are almost overwhelming.

In support of this idea, the lecturer brings up the point that the decrease in work productivity due to the overuse of social media has cost some businesses billions of dollars in lost revenue. For instance, one study done by Morse showed that British Industries lost 2.2 billion dollars a year.
In conclusion, the reading and lecture both discuss adverse impacts of the prevalence of social media on the society. The three main points made in the reading not effectively supported by the lecture.
